To support our development, we are seeking an Integrated Logistics Support Analyst to join us on a full time basis in our Defence and Security office in Ottawa. Under the direction and supervision of the Supportability Engineer or Supportability Engineering Specialist, the Integrated Logistics Support Analyst will be an active member of a multi-disciplinary team that is focused on the development and delivery of in-service support solutions for Command, Control, Communications, and Information Systems for various customers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Review vendor documentation and identify maintenance and support requirements for naval ships;
  • Conduct, contribute and assist in the preparation and delivery of various Supportability Engineering and Product Support Analyses, plans and reports;
  • Cooperate with Engineering team in the development of Equipment Family Trees for naval ships;
  • Collect, organize and expedite the necessary technical data to conduct and prepare Product and Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), Life Cycle Costing, Sparing analysis and Maintenance Task Analysis;
  • Prepare and deliver Maintenance Plans, Preventative Maintenance Schedules, and Instructions and Performance Test;
  • Support the development of User Manuals and Training Material;
  • Assist in the develop technical proposals;
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of various plans;
  • Attend Equipment Design Reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings, as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • An Engineering or Technologist degree or the equivalent;
  • Above average Microsoft Windows application experience, communications and interpersonal skills;
  • Background in communications and radar systems; sonar systems, electronic, naval ship/vessel systems;
  • Previous experience working with application software such as OmegaPS, SLIC2B, Relex, Windchill Quality Solutions, Raptor and/or OmegaPS Analyzer will be considered an asset.
