Prototype Assembly Specialist

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a team assembling semiconductors under a stereo microscope using a liquid dispenser, tweezers, and other small hand tools
  • Prepare materials for production use (i.e. staging, measuring, mixing, etc.)
  • Perform visual inspections before and during the assembly process
  • Track workload thru the Asssembly and Test portal

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience Required
  • 5 years minimum experience in semiconductor processing
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Ability to work under a stereo microscope
  • Good hand eye coordination, dexterity, and basic clean room proficiency
  • Ability to monitor and assess self-performance
  • Meticulous attention to detail and able to understand work related documents
  • Hands on, Cooperative, Team Player, and Positive Attitude a Must
