Currently, we are ramping up our efforts for our AJISS program, Canada’s largest in-service support program working in partnership with the Canadian Armed Forces, specifically the Royal Canadian Navy.

The A OPS (Arctic Offshore Patrol Ship) J SS (Joint Support Ship) I n S ervice S upport program will allow Thales to leverage its Canadian expertise in project management, systems engineering and integrated logistics support to lead the development of a new Canadian supply chain that will offer comprehensive in-service support for all systems and equipment of these fleets over their operational lifetime, ensuring they are mission-ready, on time, every time, from coast to coast to coast.

To support our development, we are seeking an Integrated Logistics Support Manager to join our team on a full time basis. The ILS Manager will be required to oversee the determination and risk management of ILS elements through the principles of Logistic Support Analysis, the development of publications and the development and conduct of training and the provisioning of data, customer service and in-service support management.

Main Responsibilities
· Ensure the timely completion of all resource management tasks;
· Track assignment/availability of resources to ensure proper project loading;
· Identify, plan and manage the ILS activities in accordance with the overall project delivery objectives; and
· Build upon the experience of past projects to further enhance the efficiency of ILS processes, tools and templates.
· Monitoring and updating, as required or tasked, support requirements;
· Conduct the necessary studies and analysis on the transfer of a maintenance function from one line or level of repair to another; or the implementation of a new maintenance function or design modification.
· Review vendor documentation and identify maintenance and support requirements;
· Cooperate with Engineering team in the development of Equipment Family Trees;
· Collect, organize and expedite the necessary technical data to conduct and prepare Product and Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), Life Cycle Costing, Sparing analysis and Maintenance Task Analysis.
· Collect, organize and expedite the necessary technical data to conduct and prepare Functional Failures and Failures Modes, Reliability Block Diagrams and, Availability, Reliability and Maintainability reports, Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis, Level of Repair Analysis, and Provisioning Documentation;
· Prepare and deliver Maintenance Plans, Preventive Maintenance Schedules, and Instructions and Performance Test.
· Support the development of User Manuals and Training Material;
· Assist in the develop technical proposals;
· Assist in the preparation and execution of various plans:
· Attend Equipment Design Reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings, as required.
· Expedite the necessary technical data to conduct and prepare Functional Failures and Failures Modes, Reliability Block Diagrams and, Availability, Reliability and Maintainability reports, Failure Mode, Effects and Criticality Analysis, Level of Repair Analysis, and Provisioning Documentation;
· Prepare and deliver Maintenance Plans, Preventive Maintenance Schedules, and Instructions and Performance Test.
· Support the development of User Manuals and Training Material;
· Assist in the develop technical proposals;
· Assist in the preparation and execution of various plans:
· Attend Equipment Design Reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings, as required.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
· Post-Secondary degree/diploma in an Engineering/Technician/Technologist discipline
· 5 years minimum e xperience in the area of logistics and logistics support;
· Previous resource management experience;
· Previous experience with an ILS applications;
· Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite; and
· Ability to qualify for NATO Secret clearance, Controlled Goods and ITAR
· Familiar with the use of the Pennant OMEGA PS and Analyzer Software an asset.
