Job Description

The HR team at Huawei located in Ottawa is looking for an HR Administrator for a 12-month contract position to support our national HR initiatives. There is a high likelihood that this position would extend beyond 12 months and a possibility that it will convert into a permanent position.

Reporting to the Sr HR Manager in Ottawa, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to learn many facets of HR. Responsibilities would include:
- Interacting with our Headquarters in China
- Onboarding management
- Exit management
- Attendance Management
- Probation tracking
- General Employee inquiries
- Assisting with learning and development
- Event Planning

Our ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following skills and experience:
- 3+ years in an administrative role
- 2+ years of HR experience
- Extremely detail oriented
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and concurrent projects
- Must be fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
