Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own all aspects of the accounting cycle for a comprehensive set of balance sheet accounts including the preparation of monthly journal entries and preparation of account reconciliations.

  • Financial reporting and preparation of Management reporting packages

  • In-depth financial analysis

  • Be a key contributor to the global consolidated balance sheet review process

  • Work closely with IT to transition assigned accounts currently on the difference ERP platforms onto Corporate SAP. This will include ensuring all automated transactions are functioning properly in the new system with zero impact to the business as account balances are moved and accounting processes are updated

  • Learn and be team lead in the construction of HANA/Business Objects reporting

  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis for a variety of end-users

    Education & Certifications Requirements:

  • Completion of a post secondary degree in Business Administration with preference being given to those candidates with a Professional Accounting Designation

  • 5+ years of progressive and diversified experience in a financial environment.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP and/or HANA/Business Objects would be beneficial

  • Solid accounting background with an understanding of GAAP
