What you’ll do:

In your role as our Marketing Manager you will develop and implement marketing plans for product level activities. You will be responsible for managing advertising, promotions, marketing research and analytics. You will also be accountable for assigned budgets.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies, advertising strategies and tactical plans for the promotion of .CA
  • Contribute to CIRA’s SEO strategy, analyze results and form recommendations that inform business strategy.
  • Lead SEM initiatives, including A/B and multi-variant testing, segmentation and targeting programs.
  • Responsible for lead generation targets and results (i.e. marketing funnel)
  • Plan and implement marketing automation strategy and programs.
  • Develop, implement, and report marketing analytics.
  • Maintain industry awareness and conduct competitive benchmarking and analysis.
  • Oversee agency relationships at the operational day-to-day level. Accountable for quality of agency partner output and program delivery.
  • Liaise with the Channel Manager to develop programs with .CA’s retail channel
  • Review and ensure .CA brand compliance across all advertising, communication, and customer touch points.
  • Lead and/or contribute to the analysis of the monthly departmental metrics dashboard and quarterly business reporting. 

What you bring:

  • Six to ten years’ experience in a marketing role, and project management experience in marketing communications.
  • University degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Strong digital marketing experience.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, analytically and creatively.
  • Good primary and secondary research skills.
  • Strong business and financial acumen.
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing terminology.
  • Knowledge of advertising / promotion process and procedures.
  • Experience with the following:
    • Google Analytics
    • Google AdWords
    • Marketing automation software
    • Social media platforms
    • Drupal (or other content management systems)
  • Proficiency in English is essential; bilingualism is highly desirable.
