R&D Senior Manager, MX-ONE Development
MX-ONE is the Mitel Global go-forward Product for the Large Enterprise. The MX-ONE R&D Senior Development Manager will provide strong and capable technical and people leadership to the wider MX-ONE R&D Organization, and will foster and promote a culture of collaboration, excellence in quality, and strong customer focus. The Leader will be responsible for the total output of the R&D organization and the timely execution-delivery of all committed MX-ONE POR including the integration of its larger ecosystem of Application-portfolio.
The Leader will have strong influence on the product direction and evolution. He/She will negotiate with PLM, Verification, and other Functional Leaders, to define a release strategy and cadence focused on meeting Customer demands and commitments. The R&D Senior Development Manager will ensure that each release will have viable and differentiating content and will diligently manage the schedule, risk, and quality-targets while coordinating with the R&D leaders from the various product teams comprising the MX-ONE Solution-Ecosystem.
The R&D Leader will ensure the accuracy of the different estimates, the timelines, and will provide the right level of detailed input to Project Approval Committee (PAC) presentations, while ensuring that all deliverable-dependencies are ascertained, program-risks are identified, as well as capturing risk-mitigation plans to lower the overall project risk. The Project Plans will always include input from Verification, Trials, Documentation, Licensing, Training and Product Support.
The MX-ONE R&D Team is a global organization with strong teams in Stockholm and Bangalore and other locations. The Senior leader will possess strong abilities to work effortlessly in a multisite and multicultural global organization. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science and at least 10-15 years of industry experience in managing R&D Teams and in delivering complex projects with very high quality.
