Job Description

Under the direction and supervision of the Supportability Engineer or Supportability Engineering Specialist, the Logistic Support analyst will be an active member of a multi-disciplinary team that is focused on the development and delivery of logistic support solutions for Command, Control, Communications, and Information Systems for various customers.

Key Job Functions:

The successful candidate will conduct, contribute and assist in the preparation and delivery of various Supportability Engineering and Product Support  Analyses, plans and reports. Typical duties would include:

  • Review vendor documentation and identify maintenance and support requirements;
  • Cooperate with Engineering team in the development of Equipment Family Trees;
  • Collect, organize and expedite the necessary technical data to conduct and prepare Product and Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), Life Cycle Costing, Sparing analysis and Maintenance task Analysis.
  • Collect, organize and expedite the necessary technical data to conduct and prepare Functional Failures and Failures Modes, Reliability bloc Diagrams and Reliability, Availability and Maintainability reports.
  • Effectsand Criticality Analysis, Level of Repair Analysis, andProvisioning Documentation;
  • Prepare and deliver Maintenance Plans, Preventive Maintenance Schedules, and Instructions and Performance Test.
  • Support the development of User Manuals and Training Material;
  • Assist in the develop technical proposals;
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of various plans:
  • Attend Equipment Design Reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings, as required.

Key Skill Requirements:

The successful candidate should be have an Engineering or Technologist degree or equivalent in military or industry experience in the area of logistics and logistics support.

  • Background in communications and radar systems; crypto systems, strategic long range radio communications systems, SATCOM systems, microwave systems, PCs and area networks and telecommunications equipment is desirable.
  • Previous experience working with application software such as OmegaPS, SLIC2B, Relex, Raptor and/or Analyzer will be considered an asset.
  • Above average Microsoft Windows application experience, communications and interpersonal skills are required for this position
