Assent Compliance “Assent” is the leader in cloud-based compliance automation software. We are looking for a full-time, permanent Senior Product Manager to join our fast-paced Product Team.

The Senior Product Manager will play a significant role in shaping and executing on Assent Compliance’s product strategy through close collaboration with our Development, Sales and Marketing teams. Product ownership, defining requirements and interfacing with our clients (including many Fortune 500 companies) form the basis of this pivotal role. The Product Manager will strive to deliver world-class capabilities aligned with customer needs within the Assent Compliance software offering, which includes Ethical Sourcing, Anti-Human Trafficking, Materials Management and related Supply Chain Transparency products.

What you will do:

  • Be a champion/evangelist for your product, and define your vision for it;
  • Ownership of product roadmap and evolution;
  • Ability to work in Agile environments;
  • Developing and orchestrating the execution of company-wide go-to-market plans;
  • Conducting competitive Product Analysis;
  • Collaboratively developing product marketing material;
  • Follow guidance set out by corporate security policies and standards;
  • Ensure departmental security processes and procedures are followed where applicable.

  • You have superb interpersonal skills - you are able to establish cross-functional relationships in a collaborative, team-oriented environment with a diverse group of stakeholders;
  • Ability to take initiative, own processes, and work independently.

What you should bring:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English - you communicate clearly, concisely and with tact;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Software Development or a related field;
  • 5 -7 years of experience in product management;
  • Experience with data product, data as a service, data transformation;
  • Experience bringing a new product to market.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in business analysis, software development, infrastructure, sales, professional services or marketing would be considered an asset;
  • Experience with data product, data as a service, data transformation;
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills;
  • Strategic and business-minded - you are a critical thinker and suggest, implement, and support efficient and effective operations driving Assent towards continuous improvement.
