As a Human Resources Business Partner with Assent you will partner with the business to bring your “WOW” factor to our strategic Human Resources Team. You will make a lasting impact as you collaborate across the organization and work closely with Human Resources and the Leadership Team to help shape and implement Human Resources initiatives and programs that will scale the business for continued success.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Global Culture: In collaboration with HR and the leadership team lead the development of employee engagement programs, seek ways to “up Asset's collective game”, inspire and improve communication and cohesion between teams.
Talent Acquisition: Attract, develop and retain high-quality talent through innovative and creative recruitment and sourcing methods. Build lasting relationships with candidates to support the organization's growth objectives.
Total Rewards: Stay current on the latest trends in Total Rewards, and recommend new programs that are cost-effective as we scale our business. Advise on policies and practices.
Employee Relations: Provide ongoing strategic advice and support to managers and employees; Support leaders in creating a high performance culture; Provide advice on Human Resources related matters and policy interpretation to resolution. Provide coaching, mediation and facilitation. Influence a culture of continuous feedback and support the team in managing their performance feedback programs.
HR Advising & Planning: Enhance HR’s value proposition by implementing fact-based and analytically sound HR plans that support Assent’s overall business strategy, building partnerships with leadership and other stakeholders.
Onboarding: Active participant in the employee orientation and training experience.
Compliance/Regulatory Matters: Partner with internal teams to ensure full compliance with current and future laws as well as security controls. Deliver relevant and impactful end-to-end process and programs such as performance and compensation management, talent management, and resource planning, with goal of achieving a high performance workforce.
HR Projects: Collaborate with various team members to work on a variety of HR projects to expand HR’s offering and meet the needs of the business, as and when required.

Your Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

5+ years of experience in an HR Generalist/Business Partner role in the technology sector with a passion for learning and development.
Extremely well-versed in recruiting and sourcing using social media. While you may not be a technical resource yourself you pride yourself on being able to recruit and source top talent in this area.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field. CHRP/CHRL certification would be considered an asset.
