To support our development, we are looking for a:

POSITION TITLE: System Security Analyst

WORK LOCATION: Ottawa, ON/ Toronto ON

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

System Security Analyst must be capable of performing vulnerability assessments and analyzing network data to report key finds and provide recommendations for remediation.

Responsibilities will also include but will not be limited to the following:

  • Perform vulnerability testing, risk analysis and security assessment;
  • Understand and implement security policies and safeguards;
  • Conduct impact analysis for configuration changes and patch management.
  • Network Scanning and Monitoring tools;
  • Manage Computer Network Defence technologies, such as Intrusion detection Systems or Security Information and Event Management systems;
  • Identity Management and/or Policy Management systems;
  • Implement and upgrade security measures and controls
  • Conduct internal and external security audits
  • Anticipate security alerts, incidents and disasters and reduce their likelihood
  • Analyze security breaches to determine their root cause
  • Recommend appropriate tools and countermeasures

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

The System Security Analyst must have a university undergraduate degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, telecommunications, information systems or computer science.

Must also have demonstrated work experience in Cyber Security and hold a current CISSP certification.

Must have skills in system security engineering and work experience related to the above mentioned responsibilities.

All applicants must be able to obtain a Canadian NATO Secret clearance and meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Canadian Controlled Goods Registration Program.
