Effort & Working Environment
Minimal physical exertion. Work performed primarily in a sitting/forward leaning position, with occasional movement around a workplace. Moderate lifting of low weight items, with limited requirement to lift items of considerable weight. Prolonged periods of work requiring focus and concentration.
May be required to work through a microscope for up to extended periods of time. Dexterity and visual acuity required for fine/precise electronic assembly.
Some isolation while in production; limited exposure to chemicals, fumes, dust and noise; some repetition; moderate interruptions and occasional high volumes/multiple and tight deadlines.
Minimum 10 year consecutive residence in Canada – for Canadian Secret Security Clearance. Applicants will be required to obtain/hold a valid and current Canadian security clearance to gain access to the classified spaces, information and equipment in order to perform the work associated with this position.
