We are currently hiring a:

Teardown Analyst

Overview:

Were you that kid who took apart your toys, the radio, or whatever you could get your hands on? Do you have an insatiable curiosity for all things electronic? Do you enjoy learning about the latest and greatest technologies? Then have a look at this position.

As the Teardown Specialist, you will be responsible for the delicate and precise dismantling of electronic products and components. Additionally, you will catalogue the exact details of a variety of products and capture high quality optical images using professional DSLR cameras and optical microscopes. Your exceptional focus, attention to detail and surgical precision, will ensure you succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality product teardown and device removal using specialized tools and de-soldering techniques
  • Produce high quality optical images using a variety of digital cameras and optical microscopes
  • Work directly with lab and engineering teams to better understand imaging and analysis requirements
  • Work with our proprietary cost modeling software to analyze and produce a costed Bill of Materials

Qualifications:

  • Technical degree or community college diploma in electronics or a relevant field, or demonstrated technical aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work closely with team members
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, meeting sometimes aggressive due dates
  • Willingness to work flexible days and hours (when required). A typical work week would include working 37.5 hours, from Monday to Friday during usual business hours
