Speedyrails provides Managed Hosting to developers and small/medium business around the world. Our small team manages 4 hosting facilities located in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal and Miami (UK coming next). We are looking for our first Marketing Manager to help us continue growing at a faster pace. You will play a pivotal role in helping define our marketing culture by contributing to our positive organization and fulfilling our company goals to provide the best possible experience to our customers. Your primary responsibilities will be: Refine and boost Speedyrails' brand to protect, promote, and enhance the company’s reputation, credibility, and awareness. Develop and execute targeted advertising programs across multiple channels, including display, social, and paid search Help developing new partner and affiliates relationships, especially locally in Ottawa. We want to be the preferred cloud service for local business and agencies Lead the creation and execution of ongoing customer and community engagement, and design and manage loyalty programs. Create and execute our social media strategy. Help the team make a great impression at local events and conferences. Organize logistics, assist with executing marketing tactics (email, landing pages, postcards, gifts), attend and help represent Speedyrails, then assist with follow-up for customers and partners. Experiment with new channels, messaging, and programs to find the optimal tactics for reaching target buyers Hire, coach, mentor, and develop a small team of marketing professionals to achieve business objectives and contribute to profitable growth successfully. Your qualifications: 2+ years of Marketing experience in a startup environment (preferably SaaS and Hosting) in demand generation, growth marketing, or user acquisition marketing Proven track record of strong communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with Hubspot (or other marketing automation tools) - Experience in a customer-facing role like customer service, sales, or customer success is a plus. Experience with graphic design (using Adobe tools or similar), and HTML/CSS skills are a plus.
