Duties, Responsibilities and Accountability: Fully understand the MES system for routing production, obtaining work instructions and logging defects. Preparing parts and pcb’s to be wave soldered or inserted at the royonics machine. Operate royonics machine (may or may not apply). Operate wave solder machine (may or may not apply). Assembly inspection (may or may not apply) which involves inspecting all through-hole components for orientation, correct component placement and ensuring that all finishing is completed properly. Data collection of defects would be included with inspection. Press fit, aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices. Crimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place. Connects component lead wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual component leads and other components, connectors, terminals, and contact points. Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches to assemblies. Assembles cables, heat sinks and power supplies for finishing. Routing assemblies through MAX system either manually or electronically. Maintaining ESD practices. Duties, Responsibilities and Accountability: Printing setup documents to pick, setup parts on feeders, load on feeder carts and perform changeover for the SMT lines. Maintaining all inventory and shortages that occur for SMT requirements. Works closely with Pick and Place Operator/Technician’s to ensure efficiencies within the pick and place set-ups, as well as, defect issues at the AOI and reflow. Fully understand the operation of the MES system with respect to on-line documentation, WIP tracking and defect management. AOI machine operation, including adhering to the First off Procedure to ensure assembly quality throughout the run. Performs reflow duties which include verifying SMT components put on by the pick and place machine, adding manual components, operation of the reflow oven, giving and receiving feedback for assembly quality. Assisting SMT Machine Operator setting up screen printer, changing reels, washing screens and light housekeeping to keep machines and area organized Work the manual paste dispense station. Maintaining ESD practices. Adhering to MSDS procedures. Keeping up-to-date on Manufacturing technology and new processes. Other duties as assigned. Duties, Responsibilities and Accountability: Receive pick list from queue and kit parts specific to a work order from the stockroom according to the Manufacturing Work Instructions.Prepare components for WIP by counting, labelling and dividing into the proper areas. Print bar codes, labels & manuals specific to a work orderTransfer components to proper containers (moisture sensitive open and resealed).Deliver finished work order to the proper area within manufacturing.Use MAX to view inventory, check shortages, access kit lists, etc.Use and follow the Manufacturing Execution System documentation and routing practices.Cycle Counts and inventory control: Maintain Dry Pak cabinets and Canban carts in ManufacturingMaintain a recycle centre for componentsFill stock boxes with parts stored upstairsVerify and be able to read values on partsFill allocations when shortages arrive; count, deliver and pass through routing in MES when work order shortage is free.Complete requests from the Ottawa lab for parts & complete sales orders for all RM stock ID’s.Read work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.Maintain ESD practices.Perform other related duties as required. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING This is a full-time role, based in Iroquois, troubleshooting Production at both a PCBA and system level. The work environment is separated from the manufacturing production floor and you will be working at a bench with the relevant tools necessary to debug. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING This is a full-time role, based in Iroquois, working within a Direct Production or Production Support role. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Configuration and Test Configure systems to meet sales order criteria, or other configuration documentation.Create data records which associate product serial numbers to their parent sales order.Configuring, assemble and test product to meet sales order requirements. Configuration Debug System-level debug if the product does not perform as expected. Determine whether failures are product or infrastructure related and react accordingly. If problem exists at the circuit-board level product is to be debugged at that level or passed on to another department for analysis and repair. Other Duties Perform assembly on circuit-boards and/or mechanical assemblies.Identify products failing test procedure/configuration specifications and route product accordingly, both physically and in the routing system.Perform other related duties as required.
