We are looking for a full-time, permanent Sales Trainer to join our fast-paced Employee Experience team. The Sales Trainer is responsible for contributing to the planning, development and deployment of product solutions training at Assent Compliance. Possessing dynamic facilitation and sales skills is only half of it. This role also requires advanced interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a hungry, energetic team. You possess strong written and verbal communication skills, What You'll Do Building Understand the needs of prospective customers’ and translating those needs into relevant demonstrations of our product’s functional and technical capabilities. Identify individual and Sales team training needs. Contribute to the design of training courses. Develop educational material, including presentations, sales scripts and case studies. Work in conjunction with other key players to scope out and create new hire onboarding training with a focus on sales. Delivery Provide sales training and mentoring to a broad team. Onboard and train new salespeople. Educate the sales team on how to align personalize solutions to specific customer needs. Help our Business Development Representatives and Account Executives with prospecting, priming and positioning as a means of growing strong business relationships. Contribute to developing subject matter expertise in assigned products and solutions. Maintain and expand working knowledge of current and beta products. Follow through Gather feedback on all training programs from trainees, managers and instructors. Recommend annual learning and development objectives for the sales team in conjunction with Team Managers. Maintain updated records of educational curriculum and material. Evaluate employees’ performance after training and provide applicable feedback as outlined in the section above. Monitor costs of training programs. Provide quantifiable and quantitative data related to sales training performance. Follow guidance set out by corporate security policies and standards Ensure departmental security processes and procedures are followed where applicable Who You Are You are a strong active and passive listener. Superb interpersonal skills - you are able motivate and establish great cross-functional relationships in a collaborative, team-based environment. Creative thinker who demonstrates initiative and flexibility to change, rising to challenges presented. Strategic mindset. You tackle business puzzles head on with a positive outlook. You shine during presentations and your facilitation skills are impressive. Must be able to manage time-sensitive requests while constantly working to grow our sales culture. Knowledge of the SaaS space would be considered an asset. What You Bring Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Adult Education, Education or Sales and Marketing. Current knowledge of adult learning and organizational development theories. Proven, successful track record of implementing sales training applications, practices and/or methodologies. Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and project management skills with incredible attention to detail. An eye for beautiful content design and an infectious energy that others can’t help but gravitate towards. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. An equivalent combination of education and experience, which results in demonstrated ability to apply skills, will also be considered .
